Artist in Residence
On the Kanaaleiland in Bruges, the realization of the new music center of the non-profit organization Cactus: the Cactus Club is currently underway. From 2022, the performing artists will need a temporary residence. This challenged us to create a design that meets these specific requirements.
Park “De rode poort”
The design includes a family home for 4 people with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. My focus was on optimizing natural light, which is why I integrated a patio. For me, light plays a crucial role in warming a home atmosphere.
’t Spoor
This design provides both a ground-floor accessible home for wheelchair use and an upper level home suitable for a family of 4.
“City Nest”
This project marked our introduction to wood frame construction. The assignment involved the expansion of a school building with student housing.
BS”de pannebeke”
The city of Bruges approached us for an exciting assignment on the construction site “de Pannebeke”: designing a new school and various dwellings for different family configurations. This group project, involving 10 students, was all about designing varied living spaces
